#GivingTuesday
The Giving Tuesday movement began In 2012 with a lofty goal: to make giving more central to people’s lives. It follows Black Friday which is the Friday right after Thanksgiving Day in the United States and has been routinely the busiest shopping day of the year. So let’s capture the spirit of giving and engage with each other on this November 30th – Giving Tuesday and give a gift to those who are in need. Remember those around you who toil to make a better world for all of us and give them a helping hand because a gift truly is enjoyed twice.
What is #GivingTuesday?
Ways You Can Help!
#GivingTuesday is an opportunity for people to make a difference in their community and globally. There are many ways that people can give and most people participate in #GivingTuesday in more than one way. In 2020, 28% of participants gave financially, 37% of participants gave time and goods, and 35% of participants doing both! See below for how YOU can give back on #GivingTuesday.

The ReStore takes in new, or gently used home or business items to sell to generate funds for our Habitat for Humanity Thousand Islands builds. For a complete list of items accepted, please click below.
The Brockville ReStore not only accepts items we can sell, but will also accept your broken appliances. Unfortunately we temporarily cannot accept e-waste.
Drop off items at our ReStores during business hours.
You can also arrange for a business or home pickup by calling or email one of our stores.
Giving Time
Our volunteers are the foundation of our organization, and we are always looking for more to help. Come join us on one of our builds to help families in need of decent housing have a home.
